Planned Giving
Planned gifts can provide meaningful charitable support to the Library and may offer donors valuable tax benefits, potential lifetime income, and the ability to transfer assets at a reduced tax cost. Our planned giving program promotes a variety of methods by which individuals may contribute to the Friends of Chesterfield County Public Library. We want to encourage individuals to make gifts that support the Library beyond their lifetimes. For more information on how to arrange for a planned gift, please contact us.

In-Kind Gifts / Donations of Materials
The Friends of the Chesterfield County Public Library helps to support the library through the sale of donated material not needed for the Library’s collection. These materials are sold in the branches, at special book sales and online. We encourage the donation of useful materials in good condition.

Donations we accept:
Electronics: Game Consoles, iPads, iPhones, Androids, Kindles, Nooks, Tablets, and Laptops
Books: Hardcover and Paperback Books of All Kinds
Media: DVDs, CDs, Audio-Books, Console Games (Wii, PlayStations, Xbox, Nintendo, etc.)
