The Friends of the Chesterfield County Public Library are thrilled to announce the return of Movie Night with a new twist: a celebration of Virginia’s vibrant independent film scene!
What to Expect:
  • This is program for adults to enjoy curated films created by talented and up and coming Virginia filmmakers.
  • Each screening will feature a special Q&A session with the filmmaker, offering a unique opportunity to hear behind-the-scenes stories and ask your questions directly.
  • All films showcased are independently produced, highlighting the creativity and diversity of our local film community.
  • Snacks, drinks, and light food options will be available.  (Donations are accepted.)
  • Admission is free.
  • Parking is free.
  • Bring your friends for an inspiring night of film, conversation, and community. Whether you’re a movie lover, a supporter of the arts, or simply curious about Virginia’s filmmaking talent, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Do YOU have a film you want to screen? It should be a length of over one minute and under two hours. If accepted, you must be available for a Q&A after your film screens.
