New Year Resolution Book Sale

Friday, 11 January, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM AND Saturday, 12 January, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What?  Books: Personal Growth, Religious, Fitness, Cooking, Sports, Diet, Health, and Children!No Scanning Allowed



Members of the Friends of the Chesterfield County Public Library are invited to a reception with Beth Macy, author of “Dopesick”. Light refreshments will be provided, and reception attendees will get a chance to meet the author and get books signed!

Details: Saturday January 26, 2019; Meadowdale Library, 6:00-6:45 PM

There is no cost to Friends members, as a benefit of membership. Guests must pay $10 to attend these receptions.

About the Author and Presentation: Journalist and bestselling author Beth Macy will discuss her New York Times-bestselling book, “Dopesick:Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company That Addicted America.” The book chronicles the opioid crisis, including the role of doctors, drug companies and the government in the crisis. Macy will discuss her journey in gathering interviews with victims, family members, dealers and medical professionals from southwest Virginia.
